The Interlock Bindoff →
Interlock can be worked plain or in pattern, and results in a visually subtle edge that is highly elastic and does not look scalloped when unstretched. When worked in rib, it sits atop the last row and blends nicely into the fabric, following the bends of the ribbing. When worked plain over stockinette, it is the exact match for the Twisted (a.k.a. Backwards) Loop Cast On.

30 Days of Knitting - Day Twenty Four
Have you ever made your own pattern or dyed your own yarn? How did it turn out? I do make my own patterns.  They are pretty much shorthand notes so that I can re-create things that I come up with on the fly.  There is this looming fear of publishing a first pattern that is riddled with errata hovering over me. There is a possibility this has something to do with my very first Etsy sale turning...

Because ;)
Amigurumi (編みぐるみ?, lit. crocheted or knitted stuffed toy) is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. The word is derived from a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll. unpopularknittingopinions: Why do we have to use trendy terms like “amigurumi”? It’s a STUFFED TOY.

30 Days of Knitting - Day Twenty-Three
If you had the supplies (and patience) for it, what project would you start today? I would make a long flowing maxi dress & I would construct it so that my ‘girls’ would fit into it and be well supported.  Most of the ones i have come across appear to be made for less than cees, which is cute, but seriously… THAT would be fly.  It would also take miles of yarn (I’m...

purlbird asked: Hey, I heart your blog ♥ I've become involved with a free-pattern project (promoting quality free patterns, helping beginning knitters, and creating new (and different) versions of paid patterns that are built around simple concepts... Still linking to paid versions, of course. These are simply "inspired" patterns) and I've always loved your posts, so if you have any...
